NPP Chief challenges UN S-G on his expression on India’s internal affairs

New Delhi: April 17, 2018. (PCP) Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party & Chairman of World Peace Council in India strongly challenged the statement made by the Secretariat of the United Nations two days back stating that Secretary-General of the United Nations Mr. Antonio Guterres has made statement on the Indian affairs concerning internal matter without verification or without seeking information from the relevant quarters of the Govt. of India or from the office of the permanent representative of India in the United Nations. The Secretary-General two days back has mentioned about the unfortunate death/murder of a minor girl who was allegedly raped and murdered in a village forest land in one District of the State of J&K.

Prof.Bhim Singh who is Master of Laws from the London University with distinction challenged the Secretary-General of United Nations the statement he has made against India without verifying the issues or the relevant facts concerning unfortunate death of a minor girl in J&K, India. The dead body of the girl was traced on January 17, 2018 by some local persons.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that all the local organizations, civil associations as well as law related organizations have been working to ensure that the killers are identified and punished without any delay. The Secretary-General of the United Nations was so quick to response a sponsored question in his press briefing two days that he failed to enquire about the matter from the representatives from the Member State India and made an abnormal statement without application of his mind.

Prof.Bhim Singh has urged the Govt. of India to refer the matter to the Inquiry Commission may it be CBI or any other Central Agency to dig out the names of the real culprits. Prof.Bhim Singh accused the British Members of Parliament also for raising a similar issue and accusing India in this connection without application of mind that Govt. of India is committed to give justice to the family of the girl killed brutally. Only way out to satisfy the foreign agencies and the press is investigation of the case by a Central Agency like CBI as the accountability in this case is on India and not on a provincial government. It is only a sovereign state, India here, which is competent to reply to the United Nations or to a foreign state not a provincial government.
