NPP demands Parliament to grant all Fundamental Rights in Indian Constitution to all in J&K
New Delhi: August 11, 2017. (PCP) Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party has urged the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind to invoke his authority vested in him under Article 370 to grant all Fundamental Rights to the Indian residents in J&K as has been promised in Chapter-III of the Indian Constitution.
NPP Supremo said that Fundamental Rights guaranteed in Chapter-III of the Indian Constitution were taken away by inserting amendment in Article 35 to deprive the people of J&K of their Fundamental Rights. Prof.Bhim Singh invited both BJP and Congress in particular to contest this situation with NPP Supremo so that the people of this country shall realise about the treacherous committed to the people of J&K during past 70 years by depriving them the fundamental rights enshrined in the Indian Constitution. Prof.Bhim Singh said that Public Safety Act earlier which was Public Detention Law in J&K has been used against the residents of J&K under the cover of Article 35(A) which empowers the Govt. of J&K to bulldoze any Fundamental Right guaranteed to the citizens of J&K being citizens of India. Prof.Bhim Singh said that the Panthers Party shall start a debate on the effects of Article 35(A) and 370 on the Fundamental Rights of the residents of J&K.
