Robochamp broke Guinness Book of World Records of world’s largest classroom at Panchkula
Panchkula, India: January 30, 2018. (PCP) Robochamp organized world’s largest classroom which broke the World Record at Inderdhanush Auditorium, Sector 5, Panchkula. Around 1200 students from Tricity Schools participated in this event & make the robots live in this classroom. Famous Google boy also participated in the event. Students from 3rd class onward participated in the event. Each participant is given certification from Guinness World Record Book for being a part of International achievement of the biggest Robotics Class in history.
Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancler, Chitkara University was Chief Guest at this moment. While Parmod Kumar, state program officer, Department of School Education, Haryana & N.K.Verma ,Assistant Director ,Academic were special guest. Participating students were also given practical training at the moment it was intense yet fun stage. Students learnt around 20 topics of Science and Mathematics involved in creating a Line Following Robot. The entire training session was practical oriented and was a huge addition to the student's skill. The session not only allowed students to participate in the record attempt, but also increase their understanding of the concepts learnt at the moment.
Akshay Ahuja, Founder, RoboChamps informed at the moment that Robochamps is working to revolutionize the Indian Education System & its aim is to bring 'Hands On Practice' to every student of the country. This teaching methodology is implemented through training in Robotics, which allows students to effectively understand scientific and technological concepts. Shikha Dhillon, Director Operations, robochamps told at the moment that to encourage children, classes are hold regularly at regional levels. Besides this, free robotics workshops for the underprivileged section of the society are also arranged time to time.
