Lahore: February 24, 2018. (PCP) One leading law enforcement agency of Pakistan famous as Federal Investigation Agency FIA during investigation in its Cyber Crime Unit building invited a group of extremist Muslims in its building and allowed them to commit mob justice with killing Christian accused of blasphemy in custody. In presence of more than dozen of FIA officials, the organs of Muslim organization Tehreek-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allaha pushed Sajjad Masih from fourth floor who fell on second floor and seriously injured. A Police team handed over the accused Patras Masih, 17, and his cousin co-accused Sajid Masih, 24, to cybercrime unit of the FIA on Friday afternoon after taking remand from the court of Magistrate Imtiaz Bajwa at the district courts, Lahore. When PCP contacted parents of Sajjad Masih to comment on critical condition of their son in hospital they were afraid to talk and said “FIA and Police will arrest and kill us also who have threatened that if we speak they will allow TLYR activists to attack their home” It is confirmed by source that during the appearance in the Magistrate court, about fifteen persons led by Hafiz Awais, the complainant and members of the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYR), had attacked and beaten the accused outside of the court in the custody of the Police. It is pertinent to mention here that the accused was attacked outside the courtroom despite an “agreement” that was designed and signed between the concerned Muslim and Christian delegations on Tuesday night. Sardar Mushtaq Gill, lawyer and human rights defender said that this act of beating the blasphemy accused vividly shows that the enraged Muslims always prefer to punish themselves the blasphemy suspect instead to abide by the law of the land and without giving the chance to the accused to prove himself innocent. It is the duty of the authority to provide security to the accused but alas that the accused belong to Christianity that’s why they do not care enough to provide security to the accused and their families. He further stated that there is impossible for investigator to conduct fair investigation when there is a deadly pressure of the religious groups and the investigator also belongs to Islamic faith. “It is valid point for me to suspect that Sajid Masih was deliberately thrown off the fourth floor and the claim of the FIA is totally false and baseless that he had tried to escape as there is not any possibility to flee from their custody,” added Gill. Blasphemy laws in Pakistan is very dangerous to destroy the lives of Christians and it looks as they were just adopted to punish the religious minorities as they do not believe in Islamic faith and values. The only Christian community who was attacked at large when some Christian was suspected in blasphemy. It is requested to the world leadership to get involved themselves to save Christian at large in Pakistan by the genocidal attack of blasphemy which is being used as an instrument to kill them.
