Delay in Hajj balloting

Ashfaq Sharif

I have no idea why HAJJ balloting for 2018 suddenly stop after receiving hajj fee in advance from Muslim faithful RS.275,000 Each and total 375,000 application received which comes to Rs.103,125,000,000 ( Rs.103 Billion )

Hajj aspirants had deposited fee of more than Rs 100 billion in the commercial banks and the banks were earning an estimated Rs 10 million interest per day on the deposited amount. Question is who enjoys the benefit of this bank profit on HAJJ DEPOSITED fee money?

Due to the unclear policy of the government regarding the Hajj quota, the balloting of the Hajj application had been postponed causing disappointment to the applicants and their families.

He said the citizens had already been decrying about a particular mafia that looted the Hajjis in the name of their so-called private packages.

Appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar to take suo moto notice of the issue so that hundreds of thousands of Hajj aspirants could be saved from mental agony.

It is Govt duty & responsibility to make a simple, economical Hajj package so even middle-class people also do not deprive to perform hajj but now a days HAJJ become a symbol of elite class, you perform hajj for change in life style or become famous which is your main target or wish?

Thanking You

Yours faithfully

Ashfaq Sharif
