Unrelenting Persecution of Christians in Pakistan and the issue of Islamic Faith-Finality of Prophethood. By Mushtaq Gill

The hatred against Christians among the extremist elements of Pakistan is not the new thing which killed Sheron Masih by his class fellows and Arslan Masih by the Punjab policemen, it is the same hatred which took the lives of ex-Governor Punjab Salman Taseer and ex-minister Shahbaz Bhatti. While Christians are certainly not the only community in Pakistan facing sever hatred, they are the leading community being targeted for their faith because there is not any other religious minority group in Pakistan which is the victim of mob violence as a whole by Islamic Extremism. According to the 2017 World Watch List (WWL) by Open Doors, Pakistan is on fourth number of Christians persecution by Islamic Extremism.
Church as a whole is failed to preach its clear faith and believe that is must be taught in Churches concerning to the finality of the Prophethood which is based on the Gospel of Matthew 5:17-18
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
So here is the clear message of Christ, which should be taught and the foundation of Gospel Preaching Mission in Muslim lands for any Church should be erected for a successful Gospel Preaching Mission in Islamic Countries. But regretfully to say it appears as Church is compromised by the Islamic Extremist powers who held hostage the Churches not preach the Gospel teachings and faiths which can scratch the basic faith of Islam.
The individual’s claimer of Gospel Preaching Mission in Islamic Countries including Pakistan are also failed to be successful to act upon the Great Commission granted by Jesus Christ through the Gospel of Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All powers is given unto me in heaven and earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and I am with you always, even unto the end of World.
Christians have been given the teachings of Eternal life in heaven and eternal death in hell but in Islamic Countries particularly in Pakistan the Gospel preachers are failed to teach it in a clear way which could be memorized by practice by individual common parishioner according to the Book of Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Resultantly, in Pakistan, Christians avoid to talk, to share and even to express with individual and publicly their above stated faiths and Gospel's teachings because of the fear of persecution and accusations of blasphemy laws, as these Gospel's faith and teachings confront with the basic foundation of Islamic faiths.
Muslims also hold the same faiths according to the Islamic Books and its teachings and they preach, share and express it at any corner of the world without any hesitation of being persecuted because they consider it as part and parcel of their life.
They are brave enough to force other to believe as they believe and to strengthen their agenda they got promulgated blasphemy laws to shut up the mouths of those who have confronted faiths and teachings with Islam.
There are some Christians who took their cross and preached the Gospel which confronted with basic Islam faiths. They were accused of blasphemy laws and arrested. Later some released-on bail or acquitted and some are still languishing in jails.
Asia Bibi is the best examples of the persecuted Christians in Pakistan and she suffered a lot as she expressed her true faith in front of those Muslims women who scolded her due to her Christian faith and also the best example of our failure as our voice on her behalf is too weak to redress her grievance in shape of getting justice for her from the authority until now.
The Constitution of Pakistan gives the right of freedom of faith in one hand and snatches by the other hand. The other hand is blasphemy laws which is a tool in Muslims' hands to persecute religious minorities.
Christians' persecution in Pakistan could not be defended in true sense and successfully until and unless the first thing Church revisit to set the Gospel Preaching Mission in Islamic world particularly in Pakistan on the basis of above said Gospel teachings without any fear of persecution and the second thing to make strengthen the mission of the Defenders of persecuted Church in Pakistan.
In Pakistan, systematically and in an organized way hatred against Christians and other religious minorities is being spread by the non-state actors and it is being further strengthened by the state actors and this hatred come on surface in shape of victimization of Christians by killings, false accusations of blasphemy laws and forced conversion and forced marriages.
