GGSCW Freshers Party 2018

Chandigarh: August 24, 2018. (PCP) Joyful exuberance and high spirits marked the Freshers' Party organized by the students and staff of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26 on August 24, 2018. The purpose of the event was to make the new students feel like an integral part of the college family. The young girls looked radiant in their best attires.
The event was set on course by a spectrum of items with foot-tapping music, including Manipuri, Classical, Western and Punjabi dance performances, and modelling. The audience was kept enthralled with the pomp on stage. The young performers were encouraged and supported by their seniors and teachers.
The following titles were awarded to the freshers: Ankita Trehan (M.Com. I), Jasleen Kaur (B.Com. I), Shivani Maan (M.Com. I), Sanskriti Chandel (B.C.A. I) and Reeta Bhatt (M.Com. I)
Dr. Jatinder Kaur, the Principal welcomed the "daughters" of GGSCW and highlighted that such programmes generate a feeling of fraternity among the students. The Principal admired the whole-hearted effort made by them and at the same time reminded them to remain focused on their academic goals.
