Karachi: September 19, 2015. (PCP) The Pakistan Christian Congress PCC Central Secretariat in a press note have expressed grave concerns on denial of persecution of Pakistani Christian by United Kingdom administration On such guidance Britain have been denying cases of asylum of Pakistani Christians and have put few on deportation list. Such official version surfaced when UK Home Office answered to a question raised by Lord Alton of Liverpool in House of Lords after his visit to Pakistani Christian Asylum seekers in Bangkok. In a statement, Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC said that it is very surprising that Britain takes Muslims of Palestine, Iraq, Somalia, Syria and other countries as victims and opens its doors for them who are economic migrants in reality while true victims among Muslims of respective states are left behind. Nazir Bhatti said that Dossier on persecution of Pakistani Christian prepared by British Pakistani Christian Association BPCA is an eye opening and can be evidence to revise guidance by UK Administration. “There have been incidents of attack on Churches and worshipers, broad day light murders of Christian, lynching of Christian children, women, men and elders and attacks on Christian’s properties on pretext to blasphemy laws by Muslim fundamentalists and failure of government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to protect Christians life and properties or to ensure justice but it is unfortunate that Great Britain not takes it as victimization, persecution and oppression” said Nazir Bhatti PCC Central Secretariat in its press note stated that President of Pakistan Christian Congress Dr. Nazir S Bhatti have written letter to Prime Minister David Cameron for revision of guidance by UK Home Office about Pakistani Christian to recognize them as persecuted and oppressed community of Pakistan.
