Ransom paid to recover 15 years old Christian girl victim of gang rape and enforced conversion

PATTOKI, Pakistan: November 16, 2015. (PCP) The Provincial Administration of Punjab Government and Police denied to recover a 15 years old Christian girl who was kidnapped by influential Muslims then gang raped for a month and converted to Islam as slave sex wife when Christian parents cried for justice in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Muslim kidnappers demanded ransom to handover Christian abducted and enforcedly converted 15 years old girl to her parents who approached local police but they denied to help them According to reports, a young Christian girl was kidnapped on 7 October, 2015, repeatedly raped for a month and forced to convert to Islam and forcibly married to her kidnapper in Serai Cheemba, Phool Nagar, Kasur. She has been recovered after paying 45000 Rupees approximately $ 400 US to kidnappers and provided alternative place to work and live and now the whole family is in a safe place. The Christian girl was kidnapped and repeatedly raped for one month by a Muslim man Muhammad Shoukat with his accomplices who then falsified marriage documents with her. Rev. Saleem Masih D.S Pattoki, Church of Pakistan, Lahore Diocese, who paid ransom for freedom of Christian girl is contacting different NGO to support in protection of family because they are still getting threats from the culprits for re-kidnapping the girl from the Christian parents. The “Kidnapping Christian girls and forcefully marrying them to a Muslim is the most common procedure for forced conversion to Islam and in such cases the police are reluctant to take any legal initiative against the culprits, “said Sardar Mushtaq Gill, Human Rights Defender.
