Jesus is Hope for World Crisis. By Peter D,Souza

Peter D,Souza
Sir,

I strongly agree to His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI who in his Christmas message said that for the world in financial and moral crisis, Baby Jesus is the light in the darkness, and Jesus is the hope for world in crisis. The world is going through a lot of bitterness and sorrow with financial crisis following the recent recession and increase of unemployment and through a spate of crisis with the increase of terrorism and unhealthy radical fundamentalists breaking the peace and harmony in the world. Jesus is the hope for all the broken hearted who are waiting for relief and cure for their pain. Jesus is the joy to those who feel shattered and lost. Jesus is love for those who feel lost and lonely and is searching for true love and unity. Jesus is peace for those people who feel that they are shattered and broken-hearted, particularly in those places which are war-stricken and people are waiting for peace.

We all have to contribute to bring this hope of Jesus Christ for the world in crisis by empowering people in crisis. As it is said, "Tough times don't last...but tough people do"...similarly such crisis will not last...we have just keep trusting in Lord Jesus... as He is the hope for the world in crisis.

Thanking you,

Yours in Service of Christ,

Cajetan Peter D'Souza
