Mr. Aslam Pervez Chaudhry CLAAS' Lawyer represented the brothers but for unknown reason the Judge did not give the verdict on the same day. He reserved the decision and announced it today. Saleem and Rasheed Masih are two brothers resident of Pasrur district Sialkot; they were arrested on 3rd June 1999 on the complaint of their villagers under blasphemy (while the main reason is land dispute). CLAAS had submitted their appeal in Lahore High Court against this decision. Mr. Aslam Pervez Chaudhry (Lawyer) works with CLAAS and represents blasphemy cases. He has received a number of time death threats but he still continues to represent Christians who have been unjustly charged. Please pray that God protect him and his family while he is representing the innocent who are suffering because of their faith in Pakistan.
