HYDERABAD (PAKISTAN)November 13,2003: The Children of Kirshan Sharma journalist, writer and social workers of district Tharparkar in southern Sindh province of Pakistan have demanded from the authorities to release their father. His children Rajnesh, Rahul, Manjeet, Marvi and Meet who were accompanied by his brothers and close relatives Nindlal Sharma, Heman Sharma, Dileep Sharma,Jay Sharma, Kapil Sharma, Naresh Sharma and Kanhyalal Sharma held press conference at press club Hyderabad the other day in which the newsmen were informed that Kirshan Shrma was picked up military intelligence in March last from bus when he was going to Karachi from Mithi. They told that since last 7 months Sharma was kept at various places in Badin and Karachi and was in custody of military intelligence. They told that on their petition Sindh High Court Karachi had rejected the allegation leveled against him by the military intelligence and had ordered his production in civil court. But they said not only he was not produced to civil court but his children and relatives were not allowed to meet him. They termed his continuous detention as worst form of violation of human rights and called for his immediate release. The children and bothers of Kirshan Sharma were accompanied Secretary Communist Party of Pakistan Comrade Imdad Kazi, Mst.Miran Kazi, noted Sindhi writer Taj Joyo, Iqbal Khan,Muqeem Kumbhar,noted writer and journalist Parwano Bhatti and others.
