London: March 21, 2011. (By John Bosco) Christian Social Link CSL has organised peaceful protest on 19th March, 2011 in front of 10 Downing Street, London against the injustice with the Minorities including Pakistan’s cruel Blasphemy Laws. Excellent tribute was given to Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti - Federal Minister for Minorities, who lost his life for the rights of Minorities in Pakistan. CSL has strongly condemn the assassination of Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti and demands the Government of Pakistan to punish the perpetrator of martyr Shahbaz Bhatti who lost his life for their rights. The recent killing of Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti has proved an injustice and double standard of Government of Pakistan that despite holding the position of Federal Minister of Pakistan he was not given residence in the Minister Colony where the proper security is provided to the minister. CSL also appealed the release of Asia Bibi and all others who are in jail in false blasphemy cases. They also urge the Government of Pakistan to punish the people who instigate mob against the Christians in Pakistan particularly designing fake blasphemy cases. It was a large gathering of almost 800-1000 people including individual, families & Human Rights Organisations from all over England. They appreciated CSL for organising this event and raised their concerns of injustice in Pakistan with the minorities particularly the murders of innocent people in blasphemy law. They also assured to CSL that they will stand firm shoulder to shoulder with them whenever they arrange any programme for the community. In the end representatives of CSL Mr. Jawed Iqbal, Mr. John Bosco & Imran Joseph thanked to the participants who showed their unity with the Pakistani Christians.
