London: March 24, 2011. (PCP) Mr. John Bosco, Secretary General Christian Social Link (CSL) on behalf of its members strongly condemn the act of Koran burning by Pastor Terry Jones in Florida, USA. He urge the Pastors and Churches to send emails and letters to Pastor Terry Jones in Florida, USA that such kind of acts will not be helpful to create harmony and unity amongst the community. The words, deeds and thoughts of TERRY JONES indicate that he is neither a Christian, nor does he know enough about the Bible. A Christian would never hate to its enemy. Jesus Christ says in Mt 5:44 “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” Terry Jones is just doing the opposite. Where did he get this idea? The options are that he could be doing it for cheap publicity. CBS News writes, "Pastor Terry Jones was little known outside Gainesville, Florida until his Koran burning plan went international. Whatever the reason, he should have shown love for Muslims and other religions, rather than hurting the neighbours and pushing them further away. Mr. John Bosco said how we could bring the community together if the seed of hatred is propagated like Jerry Jones did? He further stated that the message of Jesus Christ is peace and love.
