LARKANA: July 2, 2011. (By Nazir Siyal) Police cops were charged and arrested on attempt of rape case with college teenage girl here Saturday late night.
According to the reports, police constables Murtaza Massan and Baber Massan barged into the house of Hamid Massan village Gaber Massan near Baddah of Dokri tehsil, they made hostage the family members and attempted rape of Hafeeza Massan (19) student of Intermediate College Badah.
On the occasion, she made hue and cry against the sexual abuse, while the neighbourers were gathered and accused managed to escape from the scene.
Hamid Massan, the father of a girl lodged FIR No. 52/2011 here at Badah police station against two accused cops Murtaza Massan and Baber Massan. They were later arrested by the local police on the occasion.
Meanwhile, District Bar Association (DBA) Larkana convened a meeting of managing committee about the prevailing situation of bar here on Saturday.
According to a press statement issued, that the Vice President DBA Qadir Bux Bhatti and General Secretary DBA Abdul Hamid Bhurgri apprised the meeting and said few lawyers were illegally representing office bearers of DBA Larkana, which is against the rules and unlawful.
They said Pakistan Bar Council has issued directives to Sindh Bar Council on 10-06-2011, for preparing the list of new members of Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot districts and then the election will be announced by the Pakistan Bar Council.
They also said few Lawyers were violating the rules of Pakistan Bar Council and they will be dealt constitutional action against them. They further told that the current DBA will constitutionally work with an old body of DBA till the new election they said.
It is pertinent to be mentioned here that three office bearers including President DBA Mohammed Ayaz Soomro, Vice President Qadir Bux Bhatti, General Secretary Abdul Hamid Bhurgari and others are the regular body office bearers will remain till the next election.
