Intellectual Council of Pakistan formed
LAHORE: July 23, 2011. (PCP) The "Intellectual Council Of Pakistan "ICP has been founded by patriotic and conscious writers of the country to highlight the importance and sanctity of writing.It also aims to make Islamic and Eastern values compatible with the demands of the modern age and to provide informed opinion on national, economic, social and international issues. The purpose of the "Intellectual Council Of Pakistan" is to safeguard the rights and debate the issues confronting the writers community, and also to provide a joint platform to the community from where they could work for the procurement of a just and dignified status in society for themselves and for the rest of the society in general. ICP opened the membership for every writer and they can contact with the renowned writer Dr. Zulfiqar Awan for membership.
