New York: January 17, 2012. (PCP) The Pakistani Christian organizations in USA have strongly condemned Punjab government on bulldozing “Gosha-e-Aman” a charitable institution of Catholic Church on Allama Iqbal Road, Garhi Shahu, Lahore, on January 10, 2012. The leaders of Pakistani Christian Diaspora met here today in New York and expressed grave concern on rising incidents of persecution of Christians in Pakistan. Pakistan Christian Association in America Chairman Mr. William Shahzad urged Punjab government to hand over property of “Gosha-e-Aman” immediately to Caritas Pakistan and pay damages for illegally demolishing Church, School and Old Age House buildings in premises. The PCA leader warned that right action will be taken if government of Punjab fails to handover property of “Gosha-e-Aman” to Catholic Church of Pakistan within seven days with due compensation and an apology.
