Three killed in Karo Kari

LARKANA: March 5, 2012. (Nazir Siyal) Three people killed among man and woman on Karo Kari here on Monday. According to details, an accused Abid Jatoi in the pretext of honour killing killed (18) Hurmat Khatoon D/o Mehar Ali Jatoi and Ali Haider Jatoi (42) here at village Ali Murad Jatoi in the Hatri Ghulam Shah police and killer escaped away. The dead bodies were brought at Chandka Medical College hospital Larkana, later handed over to their heirs after conducting autopsy. Later, the police arrested an accused and started investigation. While, in another incident accused Qurban Kumbhar opened indiscriminate fires on youth Sachal Kumbhar over the matrimonial dispute resulted he died on the spot here at Murad Wahan Larkana here in the jurisdictions of Dari police station, Later, the incident accused managed to escape from the scene, the body of deceased was given to his relatives after postmortem. Meanwhile, a renowned Poet Sarkash Sindhi (72) passed away here at CMC Hospital Larkana after prolonged disease of Cancer here on Monday. According to details, ailing poet Sarkash Sindhi was brought at CMC Hospital Larkana on Monday morning, where he died. The deceased was suffering from cancer since 2001 and fight with a fatal disease but lost his war of life, he was known as resistant Poet of Sindhi language. The original name of Sarkash Sindhi was Abdul Majeed Chandio and was born on 1ST October 1940 at village near district Dadu. He remained in education department in Larkana as Teacher and settled at Shaikh Zaid Colony since decades and started literary services, emerged as notable poet of Sindh. Sarksh Sindhi wrote 11 different books including poetry in Sindhi Language among Dard Dil, Payar Azadi, Zindagi Ji Goonj and others. He left behind a son and two daughters. The funeral prayer of poet was attended by People of all walks of life.
