HYDERABAD: April 21, 2012. (By Abbas Kassar) The Diocese Hyderabad Church of Pakistan has condoled sad demise of passengers of Bhuja airlines plane near Islamabad last evening and also the Pak army jawans who were killed under ice slide in Siachen and has made appeal to Christian community of Pakistan to offer prayers for departed souls in Churches on Sunday. Church of Pakistan Hyderabad Bishop Kaleem Jan, and Imran Gul have expressed deep grief and sorrow on untimely death of 127 passengers and staff members of the Bhuja airlines that had crashed near Islamabad. They have also demanded probe in the incident and to adopt preventive measures so as to avoid such deadly incidents in future. They made appeal to all Christians to pray in Churches in Sunday mass for condoling and consoling the aggrieved families and offer special prayers for departed souls. They have also asked government to provide compensation to aggrieved families. They have also praised the efforts underway by Pak army for recovery of 135 army Jawans who were buried under avalanche in Hyari in Siachen sector.
