Islamabad: former federal minister J.Salik addressed a Press Conference on Suicidal threats from the earthquake victims who are temporarily housed in G-6/2 flats. These victims met J.Salik on his residence and apprised him of the behaviour of CDA. He in reaction reached on G-6/2 alongwith his 'Pakistan Solidarity Tent' in which he resided during his last protest. The victims of earthquake residing in G-6/2 flats have threatened to commit suicide on disconnecting electricity, water and gas from the flats the government provided them as temporary shelter. J.Salik could not tolerate their miserable plight and at once rushed to the flats alongwith his tent. Addressing the Press Conference he on behalf of Pakistanis apologize the Kashmiris on this inhumanly behaviour of CDA Administration. He said that there is none of the member who have not buried their dears on their own hands and that it is not even 40 days to the disaster they faced adding further torture in these circumstances is not justifiable. He added that he is in search of that meeting place where this decision was made and that he succeeds in finding out that place he would wash it with Arq-e-Ghulab (extract of roses) if it is not rectified the similar earthquake may re-occur. After disconnection of electricity and water tankers have been removed from the said place. He further said that most of the victims belong to the capital of Azad Kashmir and this inhumanly treatment in Pakistan's Capital may bring bad name to the country. The affectees called this action of CDA as second earthquake for them. J.Salik has decided to spend day and night with them till such a time remedial steps are taken.
