Bangalore. October 30, 2005. Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC) President Sajan George has strongly condemned the Delhi Bomb blasts killing 61 and injuring more than hundred. The three bombs were exploded in Delhi on Saturday evening when bazaars were very busy with Diwali shoppers. The two bombs exploded in shopping centers when third blasted in a bus. Mr. George said that it is reported that only Al Qaeda and The International Islamic Front, of which Lashkar-e-Tayiba and the Jaish-e-Mohammad are amongst the members, have the capability for organizing such kind of three well co-ordinate blasts. The strongest suspicion may be on Al Qaeda and the IIF because the blasts took place one day after Al Quds and two days before Diwali, an important Hindu festival. Often, Jihadi terrorists plan their terrorist strikes to coincide with Al Quds. The Mumbai explosions of March 12, 1993 were planned to be carry out on Al Quds, it is believed that the perpetrators advanced it by a week following the arrest of one of their supporters by the Mumbai police, as they were afraid that during interrogation he might reveal their plans. The blasts of October 29 have come in the wake of the propaganda against India stepped up by Al Qaeda, the Taliban and the IIF in the wake of the prime minister`s recent visit to the United States. The increased involvement of Indian Muslims in the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and other Pakistani members of Osama bin Laden`s International Islamic and recent reports of involvement of Indian Muslims in the London blast show that the Lashkar is making massive recruitment of Indian Muslims in cohoot with the Maulavis and Madrasas. Forty-five per cent of the world`s Muslims live in the Indian sub-continent and this blasts are meant to frighten peace loving Indians and to further" ghettoize" Muslimism in India. The tall claims of peace of the perpetrators stand exposed with the blasts and it is time that members of Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) condemn the attacks and stop providing resources for the terror outfits .The terror begets terror and any attempts to buckle the civil societies of the world terror will lead to further isolation and the blood shed.
