Karachi; January 26, 2013. (PCP) The Central Executive Council of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC approved nomination of Mr. Salamat Bhatti as President of PCC Central Punjab in a special meeting here today. Salamat Bhatti, a famous Labor Union Leader, a human right activists and Christian political leader have outstanding record of 40 years serving Pakistani Christians and struggling for their rights. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC called honorable Salamat Bhatti and welcomed his decision to join Pakistan Christian Congress. Dr. Nazir Bhatti said that joining of Salamat Bhatti to Pakistan Christian Congress PCC will make PCC stronger and will add one very dedicated Christian political activist. He paid homage to services of Salamat Bhatti for oppressed and persecuted Pakistani Christians.
