LARKANA: February 5, 2013. (Nazir Siyal) All four Deputy Commissioners of Larkana division did not celebrated and attended the programs on Kashmir Solidarity Day or hoisted black flags at their offices of the districts and tehsils, while political, religious and social circles largely organized rallies and seminars to mark the Kashmir Day.
Deputy Commissioners of the Larkana division, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kashmore-Khandkhkot did not attended or organized programs, despite of having budget and other resources, while the government led ceremonies could not observed throughout here to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day.
On Kashmir Solidarity Day, Jamait Islami (JI) Larkana chapter and the school teachers took out rallies to mark the day, the posters and banners containing the slogans indicating commitment to the cause of Kashmir were taken by the workers and activists carrying banners and play cards inscribed with Kashmir freedom slogans.
JI leader Kashif Ali led rally from Bunder Road to Pakistan Chowk and the teachers took out rally from Government Pilot Higher Secondary School Larkana along wtih Civil Society, NGOs and all walks of life participated in the Kashmir solidarity rally in Larkana and other districts.
Addressing the rally the JI leaders highlighted the struggle of Kashmiri people and appreciated their struggle and sacrifices, while condemned the against the occupation of Indian forces and said that the world should raise voice of Independent Kashmir.
The JI leaders raised slogans of freedom of Kashmir and demanded the UNO to dialogue with India about the freedom of Kashmir, because they have been fighting since the long 65 years and struggle for the self-determination.
Khaksar Tehreek Larkana and Jamiat-Ulmai Islam (JUI) Larkana organized awareness program on Kashmir Solidarity Day here at Lahori Muhalla Larkana.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders of KT and JUI said that the independence is the right of Kashmiri people and we are supporting Kashmir, which is the legal and moral duty to support them, so that we will continue help in their struggle.
The leaders said that they all are united and demand from United Nation for the independent state of Kashmir and determined for the self-determination and independent state of Kashmir.
The parties’ leaders were among Nazm-e-Ala Sindh Azm-e-Hyder Mughal, JUI district leader Nasir Hussain Soomro, Mohammed Uris Shaikh, Mir Gul Jamali, Anwer Ali Abro and others spoke high about the Kashmir.
