LARKANA: February 21, 2013. (Nazir Siyal) A complete shutter down strike was observed by the Jamait Ahle Sunnat and a large large number of devotees and flowers against the Jacobabad blast and killing of grandson of Sain Hussain Shah of Qamber-Sharif Dargah here in various districts of the province on Thursday.
Several religious Organizations among Jamiat Ulam-e-Tahria, Pakistan Suni Tehreek, Jamiat Tulba-i-Islam, Jamiat Ulma-e-Pakistan, PML-N and other social and political parties supported the protest call in different cities including Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Ratodero, Naudero, Warrah, Nasirabad, Dadu, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore-Kandhkot, Sukkur, Khairpur, Gambat, Naushehro Feroz and other districts of province.
A large number of devotees and flowers of Sain Hussain Shah of Qamber Dargah took to the streets and roads, carrying sticks and blocked highway and different roads and chowks in protest rallies for arrest of involved culprits in blast on the motorcade rally of spiritual leader Sain Hussain Shah of Qamber-Sharif.
Enraged followers and various religious organizations led their protest and marched on different roads for the shutdown markets and shops, while in different shops the devotees and workers pelted stones on the shops to close their market in protest.
The followers and devotees chanted slogans against the rulers to immediately arrest the killers of grandson Shafique Hussain Shah, who was martyred in blast and several injured during the religious rally of Syed Hussain Shah at village Ahmed Khan Brohi in Jacobabad.
All the shops and markets including Resham Gali Shahi Bazar, Bunder road, Pakistan Chowk, Royal road, Jinnah Bagh, Lahori Muhalla, Fish Market, Bakrani Road, Anaj Mandi, the petrol pumps, CNG stations and other parts of Larkana district were remain closed and the traffic was thin on the occasion.
The private schools already announced closure of educational activities due to shutter down strike strike by the religious organizations in protest against the blast on the vehicle of Sain Hussain Shah of Qamber.
Meanwhile, the martyred Sayed Shafique Hussain Shah the grandson of Sain Hussain Shah was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard (Dargah) inside the jurisdiction of Dargah at Qamber city.
On the occasion, a large number of social, religious and political personalities, notables, citizens and thousands of devotees and flowers also attended the funeral prayers of grandson of Sayed Hussain Shah.
On the occasion, several rallies were led by JUT leader Allama Mufti Jamil Ahmed Abasi, PST leader Molana Ali Nawaz Qasmi, Hafiz Ahmed Nawaz Memon, JTI leader Sanaullah and others.
The Hundreds of activists and local leaders of Shia Ulma Council Pakistan (SUCP), Jamaat Wahdat-u-Muslimeen and Jafria Students Organization (JSO) continued their separate protests and token hunger strikes against the killings of innocent people in Quetta carnage here at Jinah Bagh chowk on Thursday.
They blocked the vehicular traffic for several hours in protest against the killing of innocent people in Quetta carnage; they also set tyres on fires and chanted the slogans demanded of the rulers to immediately arrest of culprits.
The protesting large number of men and women holding the banners and placards inscribed with slogans demanding the arrest of involved culprits and punish them exemplary.
The pretest was led by Tarique Hussain Badvi, Abid Hussain Mangi, Riaz Hussain Shah, Syed Ali Shah, Zulifqar Ali Magsi and others strongly condemned the Quetta incident killings of more than 90 innocent people of Hazara Community.
They said that citizens and religious scholars are insecure in country, rulers are making hollow promises with masses. They said it was a conspiracy to create law and order issues in different cities, so that sectarian clashes could be erupted, but they should maintain the law and order situation to protect the lives and the properties of the citizens they demanded.
They demanded of government to expose the hidden hands behind the incidents, formation of high level inquiry and arrest the involved accused, otherwise, they will continue their protest.
meanwhile, a large number of activists of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) and Jeay Sindh Students Federation (JSSF) Larkana chapters continued their protest and token hunger strike against the registration of allegedly fake FIRs on JSSF local leaders on Thursday.
Protesting activists of JSQM and JSSF shouted slogans in favor of their demands and called for the withdrawal of their fake cases.
On the occasion, Comrade Athar Soomro, Muzafar Sandano, Ashraf Kalhoro, Aziz Shaikh, Naeem Pathan alleged that administration of CMC and SMBBMU have implicated the students in fake and fabricated case against the 4 JSSF leaders including Sohail Memon, Noor Abro, Shahid Abro and Aamir Khuhawar.
They said that rustication of JSSF leaders Dr Majid Gorar and Dr Sohail Sarki students of final year is deplorable act and they termed it political victimization.
They clarified that students were not involved in incident to torch the College Bus few days back, they called for the impartial inquiry to probe into matter.
They demanded of high ups to take notice of matter and withdraw the cases and conduct inquiry of incident, otherwise they will continue their protest.
Oother-hand, Mehran Government Contractors A association Larkana staged protest against the Executive Engineer Rice Canal Division Larkana to award the contracts of development and repairing works to their favorites here outside the Press Club on Wednesday.
On the occasion Contractor Riaz Langah, Saeed Jatoi and others told media men that Executive Engineer Rice Canal Division Larkana Imtiaz Memon has carried out the development and repairing work at various areas without meeting legal formalities PEPRA rules.
They alleged that concerned XEN has not made the public NIT and tender notices in the news papers and violated the PEPRA rules and regulation, added that work orders have been issued illegally to his favorites, which resulted substandard development work is going on at several sites of FP Bund/embankment.
They also demanded of high ups to conduct an impartial enquiry into the different ongoing work on the embankments at FP Bund and other embankments they said.
