Karachi: March 3, 2013. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC paid homage to sacrifice of Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti in a message released by Central Council of PCC here today. In a message on 2nd anniversary of Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti, PCC Chief demanded arrest of killers of Shahbaz Bhatti and condemned All Pakistan Minorities Alliance APMA to keep silent on this demand when in government. Nazir Bhatti said " Paul Bhatti, who is true brother of Shahbaz Bhatti and a federal minister heading Ministry of National Harmony not dared to demand arrest of killers of Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti nor a group which claims to be True Representive of APMA which Shahbaz Bhatti was heading, had a big moot in Lahore but fell short only on two mintues silence in his honor on his 2nd anniversary" "Christians are heading toward slavery of Muslims in Pakistan through Joint Electorate and Selection system which was demanded by Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti and Catholic Bishops Conference for their vested interests" added Nazir Bhatti Nazir Bhatti said " Only Christians can elect true representation with their votes nor Muslim political parties who are Selecting Christian representitives and imposing them on Christians" Joint Electorate was demanded by Catholic Bishops Conference of Pakistan and Shahbaz Bhatti who was funded by it to capture leadership of Christians in Pakistan which they lost under Separate Electorate when Christians were electing their parliamentarians from 1985-2000. The Bishops in Pakistan who enjoy Feudal lords life have lost VVIP status in government functions after Separate Electorate because government was consulting issues of Christians with elected Christian representitives. The Bishops Conference of Pakistan conspired against poor Christians and supported military government of General Pervez Musharraf who abolished Election System on minorities reserved in parliament and imposed Joint Electorate as demanded by Bishops and their funded Shahbaz Bhatti which enables Muslim political parties to Select Christian of their choice in parliament. Nazir Bhatti said that after Joint Electorate or Selection System, the cases of blasphemy against Christian have risen to 100%, Muslim mob attack, killing of Christians, enforced conversion of Christian women to Islam, gang rape of Christian women, sexual harrasment of Christian women on workplaces and incidents of hate on religion have rose up to 200%. "It was what Christian were assured that Joint Electorate will bring Christians in mainstream politics of Pakistan?' asked Nazir S Bhatti to those who are claiming Joint electorate only solution for Christians. PCC Chief said that Christians of Pakistan are still waiting that government will declare Elections with Dual Voting Rights instead of unconstitutional Selection system on reserved seats for minorities but as caretake government is announced after March 15, 2013, to hold elections, Christian will decide weather to vote Muslims in Elections 2013 or not.
