Pakistan Christian Congress nominate Majid Masih Gill as President PCC South East Asia

Karachi: March 4, 2013. (PCP) The Central Executive Committe of Pakistan Christian Congress approved nomination of Mr. Majid Masih Gill as President of PCC South Asia in a meeting here today. PCC Central Council also condemned bomb blast at Abbas Town Karachi and expresses grief with families who have been killed in this blast. In a resolution PCC council demanded government of Pakistan to adopt necessary measure for safety and security of citizen and a prompt action against ban outfits. Mr. Majid Masih Gill have sacrificed for Pakistani Christian and was injured with bullet firing by Karachi Police on February 13, 1997, leading PCC protest procession against Muslim mob attack on Christian village Shati Nagar. Mr. Gill was lated elected Nazim in District Okara Punjab but false cases against him in Karachi forced him to flee from Pakistan and at present he is based in Cambodia. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan and Mr. Morris Sadiq, Secretary General of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have welcomed Mr. Majid Masih Gill back in PCC to take active part in struggle of Pakistan Christian Congress.
