Muslims pressing for custody of 14 years old Christian girl abducted and enforcedly converted

Pattoki, Punjab: Rafia Bibi ,a minor-Christian 14-year old girl was abducted on dated 5 December 2012 ,forcibly converted to Islam on 8 December 2012,and forcibly and under threats married to a Muslim man Muhammad Imran on the same day 8 December 2012 at Green Town Lahore after receiving the certificate of accepting Islam from Jamia Islamia Mufta Ul Quran. Mansha Masih, resident of Burj Mahal Chak No.35 Pattoki, submitted a complaint application against the culprits at Police Station City Pattoki with help and support of LEAD.The FIR was lodged against culprits bearing No 79/13 under section 365-B PPC. The Culprits submitted petition in the Court of Additional Session Judge Pattoki Mr. Ijaz Hassan Awan for recovery of Rafia claiming his wife.On dated 4 February 2013 Rafia Bibi was made appeared in the Court for recording her statement and she stated in the Court that she was abducted and raped and forcibly married to Muhammad Imran,after recording the statement of Rafia Bibi the Court dismissed the petition. The Culprits also applied for pre-arrest bail in which next date of hearing is 12 March 2013 ,they are also making forced to Mansha Masih for compromise and making threat to kidnap her daughter again,LEAD is giving free legal aid in this case and will contest bail petition on behalf of victim family. Kidnappings, rapes, forcible conversions,land grabbing ,blasphemy laws and constant harassment are therefore a daily routine for Minorities who dare to remain in their homeland of Pakistan and suffer the humiliation of being third class citizens and subhumans in the eyes of the majority and legal system.
