Philadelphia: March 17, 2013. (PCP) Pakistani Christian Community in Philadelphia gathered to protest against burning of Christian homes in Joseph Colony Lahore on March 15, 2013, in severe cold weather. The protesors were chanting slogand "Stop Killing Christian in Pakistan" "Stop Burning Homes of Pakistani Christians" "Stop Misusing Blasphemy Laws against Christian" " Ensure Justice to Pakistani Christians". The children, women and men were holding playcars with "No to 295 B and C" and others. The Muslim mob attacked Joseph Colony, Badami Bagh area in Lahore on March 9, 2013 and set on fire 187 homes, 19 shops of Christians and one Church. The area police contingent remained silent and not attempted to stop Muslim attackers as one ruling party in Punjab representitive was interested in grabbing land of Joseph Colony for commercial purpose. The Christian youth Philadelphia played active role in orgnizing protest while community leaders spoke and condemned brutal attack of Muslim mob on Christians in Lahore.
