LARKANA: March 19, 2013. (Nazir Siyal) Khaksar Tehreek Pakistan organized gatherings to pay tribute to the martyrs of March 19, 1940, those who sacrificed their lives for the Independence against British.
The event titled on "Shuhda Conference" organized throughout country included in Larkana, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and other parts.
Khaksar Tehrik Larkana paid rich tributes to the martyres of 19 March, 1940 massacre; it was the foundation day of Pakistan after three days spoke high about the independence on the occcaison.
Khaksar Tehreek leaders said that the saga of sage of Khaksar Tehrik was to devote their lives in the struggle and earned an independent Pakistan which cannot possible through begging and 313 Khaksars proved to sacrifice their lives in Lahore.
On the occasion, in a presidential address Khaksar Tehreek Nazim-e-Alla Sindh Azm-e-Hyder Mughal said that the British Prime Minister David Cameron “paid his respects at the scene of one of the bloodiest massacres in British history, he also laid a wreath at the Jallianwala Bagh memorial by bowing his head and standing in silence”. Khaksar Tehreek appreciates if he should do so at the Lahore Khaksar Massacre, on March 19, 1940, there was another tragedy underscored brutality of British Raj, and the hundreds of members of the Khaksar Movement (Khaksar Tehrik) were brutally attacked by police in British India.
While, the Muslim League Function leader Sayed Hussain Shah also paid tribute to the martyrs and said that Hurr Mujahids and Khaksar Mujahid were sacrificed their lives of the independence of Indo-Pak and country men should follow the steps to the path of success.
The leaders in their speech also condemned the present rulers over their failures in every aspects of life and said there are numerous challenges in Pakistan and threats by four corners. They said the conspiracy by US and others elements merged due to the rulers and political leaders because of their vested interests in the weakening country and its solidarity they said.
Khaksar leader said increasing lawlessness, injustice, soaring the prices of commodities, high level corruption, terrorism, inflation, unemployment, poverty, and other issues are the disturbing country and its unity, so that we must come out of crises they said.
They demanded of the Chief Election Commission of Pakistan and said the purpose of the Khaksar Tehreek was to develop spirit of self-reliance and encourage 80 percent and 15 percent educated, honest and enlightened common constituencies should be separate from 5 percent elite class, who is occupied on all resources and taking benefits over their vested interests the said.
They said we need once collective efforts and sacrifice for our motherland to save our generations by sacrifices, spending skills and resources for the national cause and build strongest Pakistan for the path of success with sacrifice as in March 19, 1940.
The leaders said before the independence they were fought against British but now we must fight against a bad and cruel shape of British remains, they are the real followers since independence in 1947, they tarnished the image of Muslims and independence, we all sacrificed. The present rulers are the remains of British and a corrupt ruling class; they have destroyed our sanctity and unity they said.
Later, the Khaksar workers saluted with 21 gun-salutes to the martyrs of Khaksar workers in Lahore massacre and offered fateha, several citizens, social and political personalities attended the event and addressed on the occasion.
