LAHORE: May 25, 2013. (PCP) A minor Christian girl named Fouzia Bibi, daughter of Malooka Masih, age 15,a resident of Village Roday, District of Kasur, was brutally raped by her family’s landlord. On Jan. 25, 2013, at about 6:30 pm, Fouzia Bibi want to bring milk to the landlord from one of his nearby cattle areas. When she was going to the landlord with the jug of milk, two Muslims armed with pistols, Sher Muhammad and Shabir , abducted her and imprisoned her in a room. They forcibly removed her clothes then raped and tortured her one by one. No one could hear the cries of the minor girl as she was raped and left unconscious. Yesterday 24 May,2013,at night about 11:30 PM,Malooka Masih called on the cell phone of National Director LEAD Advocate Sardar Mushtaq Gill and informed him that Police Officer told Masih that the bail petition has been filed in Lahore High Court Lahore the allegedly accused of rape.The Lawyers of LEAD filed power of attorney in the bail and next date of bail hearing will fix in office. The cousin of Fouzia Bibi, Alam Ashiq who is the only one man who is helping his uncle Malooka Masih in this case,but a few days back the Muslim allegedly accused of rape with help and support of Police officials of Police Station City Muridkey made him arrested in one case which was registered against unknown persons last back six month.Now they are making pressurised to family that they should made compromised with rapist so that the Court will grant bail on the base compromise.Today National Director LEAD with family appeared before DSP Muridkey and told him the reality why the culprits made involved in criminal case. "There are many examples of such cases in which complainants make pressurised by different tactics including make them involve in criminal cases with the connivance of police so that the compromise can be easy for them".Advocate Sardar Mushtaq Gill We ask for financial and moral support for the continuity of work which LEAD provides in Pakistan.
