(PCP) Parvez Iqbal, President, Pakistan Christian Congress Holland Chapter has strongly condemned severe torture to a Lady in Police custody by the police officers of Nawab Town Police Station Lahore. According to details, Mst: Nusrat Bibi was taken in to custody by the police authorities for investigation of some theft case and than brutally beaten and mishandled anti socially and humanitarian. Seeing the picture of the torture in Nawab Town police station no one can believe this is happening in Islamic Republic of Pakistan where respect and protection to women is at the highest both in religious and social teaching as well as given priority in the constitution and Law Books. BUT when the Protectors changes to wolves, who can save and the authorities, close eyes and mouthing only biting their nails, who will protect, poor and innocent Pakistani's is big question to the newly Elected Government. Immediate suspension of Nawab Town Police Station staff and legal proceedings for misuse of their powers against poor lady be started immediately, for true justice to Mst: Nusrat Bibi demanded Mr. Parvez Iqbal.
