ISLAMABAD: July 8, 2013. (Shamim Masih) During the past week, national and international media painted about Rimsha. According to the sources, she took asylum in CANADA with her family and some even claimed that she got admission to learn English.
As reported, that Malik Ummad (petitioner) has filed an application in Supreme Court of Pakistan to re-open the blasphemy case against Rimsha challenging Islamabad High Court (IHC) decision and apex court has accepted his application.
The court will hear the application on Tuesday, 9 July 2013 in the second bench headed by Justice Tasadaq Hussain Gillani.
Earlier on Friday, 22, 2013, a bench of three headed by Justice Tasadaq Hussain Gillani admitted the petition to review the IHC’s decision to the Rimsha case. The IHC had acquitted Rimsha of blasphemy charges
