Lahore: August 01, 2013. I am very thankful of The Central Executive Council of Pakistan Christian Congress-PCC for approval of mine nomination as President of Punjab Council of Pakistan Christian Congress and remaining in the previous Nomination as President Lahore. I am President of Lahore-PCC from years and working with dedication for Pakistan Christian Congress. I have special thanks for Mr. Nazir S. Bhatti and Mr. Raymond Durrani active leaders of PCC, Mr. Morris Sadiq, Secretary General of Pakistan Christian Congress and for Mr.Akram Waqar Gill,Chief Organizer of Punjab-PCC and also Ms.Ruham Shaw, President Punjab women Wing and all other who are working for PCC,and Mr.Dilawar G Bhatti Advocate High Court of Sindh , President of Sindh Pakistan Christian Congress Now we will form the new District executive from all Punjab Districts and we have in our mind there are, on a large scale changes in organizational set up, expected in Punjab province to make Pakistan Christian Congress more effective to serve poor and oppressed Christians of Punjab who are deprived of their basic equal democratic rights. I am serving as Chief Coordinator of LEAD, an organization recognized world over for it free legal aid service to oppressed and persecuted Christians in Pakistan. In these days, I am mentally upset and especially due to my family's apprehensions because now i am married man. In 2007, when I gave shelter my cousin Martha Bibi who was falsely accused of blasphemy, militants threatened me to “convert to Islam or die. In June, 2013, again I was threatened to be killed by some unknown persons. The threats against me are increasing day by day. My request you all to pray for me and my family so that the Lord will give me divine strength to continue to stand for His people and do His will without fear for PCC too. I am very thankful for CLAP-Christian Lawyers of Pakistan and its Executive body who condemn the death threats to me and encouraged me by passing condemning resolution against death threats.
