Karachi: August 6, 2013. (PCP) The Central Executive Council of Pakistan Christian Congress approved nomination of Mr. Pervez Sundho as President of PCC-Islamabad here today in a meeting.
Mr. Sundho is a local businessman and human rights activist of Islamabad who has been doing charitable work form decades.
Mr. Raymond Durrani, President of Canadian Chapter of PCC, Mr. Pervez Iqbal, President of Holland Chapter of PCC, Mr. Akram Waqar Gill, Chief Organize of Punjab Pakistan Christian Congress, Mr. Mushtaq Gill Advocate, President of Punjab Pakistan Christian Congress, Ms. Ruhama Ambreen President of Women Wing Lahore PCC and Ms. Asma Riaz President of PCC Youth have congratulated Mr. Pervez Sundho on his nomination as President of PCC-Islamabad.
PCC Central Executive Council in a meeting expressed concerns on rise of violence against Christians in Punjab province of Pakistan.
The CEC members also urged government of Punjab to provide adequate security to Mr. Mushtaq Gill Advocate who is receiving threats from extremist groups and fired were shot at him during his visit to Pattoki.
