LARKANA: August 26, 2013. (Nazir Siyal) Senior Minister for Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has suspended 11 officials of education department and Accounts department among DEO Elementary Larkana and three officers on allegedly involved in fake job orders, corruption of millions rupees here on Monday. According to details Senior Minister for education Sindh Nisar Ahmed Khuhro by taking serious notice of fake orders in education departments and huge corruption of millions rupees GP funds and others has suspended the 19 grade officer DEO elementary Larkana Gulsher Ahmed Soomro, DO head quarter Naseeban Katpur, 19 grade officer Nazir Jatoi Head Master of School, Assistant Bashir Ahmed Abbasi, Assistant Lal Dino Kalhoro, Assistant Accounts Officer Mumtaz Khaskheli, Assistant Muhammad Yaqoob Memon, Senior Clerk Rafique Jatoi, Assistant Mukhtiar Soomro, Senior Clerk Maqsood Ahmed and others on issuing the fake appointment orders, forgery in record, being involved allegedly corruption and embezzlement of millions rupees, he directed the investigation against them. Meanwhile, Senior Minister for Education Sindh Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that it needs the modal study of embankments of river Indus, but due to lack of resources 800 kilometer long dyke of river Indus from Guddu to Kotri cannot be raised and stone pitched, he expressed these views while talking to media men during his visit at Akil Aghani Loop Bund here on Monday. He further said that all embankments of river Indus are intact and strong enough to face the challenges, adding that credit goes to PPP government which provided the huge funds and strengthened the embankments of river Indus. Nisar Khuhro said that during the Super flood these bunds faced the 11 lac to 12 lac cusec water, now incoming water released by India will not be 5 lac cusecs to 5 and half cusecs, all the flood fighting machinery and materials are available at sensitive embankments, concerned department and district administration are high alert and closely monitoring the situation. He said that relief camps and medical camps have been established for the flood effected people, efforts are under way to shift the stranded people to safer places where all basic facilities of ration and medical are available. To question about the unavailability of snake bite vaccines at medical camps and in Larkana district he said that district administration has demanded the anti snake vaccines for medical camps and will be provided very soon. Later, visited the Mole Spur 0/4, T Head Spur of Akil Aghani and other vulnerable dykes Nisar Ahmed Khuhro directed to concerned local authorities of irrigation department Larkana to ensure the monitoring of sensitive dykes of River Indus in order to avoid the any untoward situation. Sindh Minister for Education department Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said that all resources should be utilized for the protection sensitive embankments of River Indus added that effort of irrigation officials and its staff during the super flood in 2010 was commendable. He directed to SE irrigation that all required machinery and flood fighting material should be made available for early action adding that strict action will be against the negligent officials of irrigation department. SE Irrigation Abdul Rehman Nizamani briefed to Minister about the current situation said that water has receded to 310000 cusecs from 454000 cusecs, flood fighting work will continue. On the occasion Deputy Commissioner Larkana Umer Farooque Bulo, SE Irrigation Department Amjad Pervaiz Dawach, and other concerned officials were present. Earlier Senior Provincial Minister distributed the cloths and Eid gifts among the deserving poor people at Circuit House Larkana.
