Lahore: October 12, 2013. (PCP) It is first reported blasphemy case in Pakistan in which a Christian Pastor has been charged under all Sections of 295 Pakistan Penal Code. Pastor Adnan Masih was charged under Section 295 A, B and C of PPC in a police station of Lahore on complains of a Muslims that accused wrote derogatory remarks in a book about Islam written by a writer of a banned Islamists outfit. After the undue violence and suicide attacks in Peshawar Church and an attempt made failure to blast a bomb in Lahore Catholic Church the extremists are now back to their previous task i.e. convicting the innocent Christians which is evident from the case registered against a pastor named Adnan Masih and Mushtaq Masih. Pastor Adnan Masih was blamed to write derogatory remarks on an Islamic Book named, "Why we became Muslims" written by Maulana Ameer Hamza, a leader of JUD. The Muslim complainant claimed that Adnan Masih was reading the Book in the shop of Mushtaq Masih where there are few Islamic as well as Christian books. That Adnan Masih is the brother of a man named Irfan Masih who is working at the shop of Mushtaq Masih. Pastor Adnan often comes to see Irfan at the shop and that day i.e. on 7th Oct 2013 Adnan also came to visit Irfan and was studying the above mentioned book along with the Bible and on 8th Oct 2013, he saw that the book was filled with the marks of arrows pointing towards the word Muslim and the holy Prophet stating filthy and derogatory remarks on it. The complainant Abid took the book to the Police Station and filed a report against Adnan Masih and gathered the Muslim Clerics to close the shop of Mushtaq Masih and to punish the Blasphemer. The Voice Society came to know about this incidence on 9th of October when a case got registered against Adnan Masih under section 295 A, B and C in Police Station Township under FIR No 675/13. The Complainant of the FIR is named as ABID MEHMOOD S/O MOHAMMAD ASHRAF. A team from the office of The Voice Society comprised of Mr. Khurram Akhtar, Mr. Shahid Anthony, Mr. Napolean Qayyum, Mr. Gohar and Ms. Rukhsana went for the fact finding of the case. Upon their arrival at the place of occurrence i.e. College Road New Diamond Glass it was revealed that the situation was very critical and the circumstances were very crucial to investigate any such thing about the Accused/Victim and a slight component of favor to the victim can cause serious life threats to the fact finding team of the Voice Society. Hundreds of Islamic Clerics were present there and they belonged to Jamait-ul Dawa (JUD an Islamic extremist group of Al-Qaida). The blame upon Pastor Adnan was also framed by a member of JUD. The Voice Society will present its Power of Attorney for the Victim named Adnan Masih and will file the bail for Adnan Masih as soon as the matter will get settled a bit.
