Philadelphia: December 1, 2013. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC telephoned Ahmar Mustikhan who is longtime friend of Pakistani Christians to wish him get well soon and to convey prayers of PCC members for his quick recovery. Mr. Ahmar Mustikhan, famous as Baloch Dalai Lama, founder of American Friends of Balochistan, a prominent Journalist and columnist in many USA news outlets was admitted to emergency department of Adventist Hospital in Washington DC on November 29, 2013. Baloch Dalai Lama Ahmar Mustikhan is campaigning tirelessly for peace in Balochistan and raising voice for Baloch missing person on International level from years. The Balochistan province of Pakistan was NO Go area for foreign election observer teams and even for Pakistani media during national general elections of May 11, 2013 and still a No Go area for International relief agencies after devastating earthquake in South-Western Balochistan which killed hundreds and destroyed thousands of properties. An elected government is placed in Balochistan after elections of May 2013 but kidnapping of innocent Baloch Youth and dumping their dead bodies on roadsides have not stopped which is blamed on secret services of Pakistan Army which controls province. The American Friends of Balochistan AFB, founded by Ahmar Mustikhan based in Washington DC was very first organization in collaboration with BSO-NA of Wahid Baloch which raised voice for Missing Baloch persons and against military operation in Balochistan on International level after killing of veteran Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti by Pakistan army. After Martyrdom of Nawab Akbar Bugti by Pakistan Army, the Baloch took to mountains for freedom of Balochistan terming Pakistan as an occupier in 2006 which was supported by AFB and BSO-NA through Press Conferences, Protest and Seminars from Washington DC. The Marri, Bugti and Mengal tribes supported freedom of Balochistan while other 27 tribes of Balochistan felled in lot of Pakistan federation but situation changed when Mengal tribe bargained with government agencies and decided to enter in elections of 2013. After Mengal,s bargaining with government and asylums of Marri and Bugti leaders in Europe, many other organizations of Baloch emerged suddenly in EU, Canada and USA which started campaign to their tribal chiefs leaving behind AFB and BSO-NA organizations which really supported Baloch cause on International Forums. Mr. Ahmar Mustikhan as a writer and human right activist disliked killing of Baloch activists and solution of Baloch issues through guns instead of dialogues which was highly criticized by followers of Baloch Chiefs. Mr. Mustikhan was under stress from months on criticism to his Peace efforts in Balocistan which took him to hospital on November 29, 2013. Ahmar Mustikhan continuously wrote for all oppressed communities like Baloch, Christians, Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan to ensure justice. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti will visit Baloch Dalai Lama Ahmar Mustikhan in Washington DC Hospital to wish him Get Well Soon.
