YMCA Agra organizes First United Christmas Carol

Agra, India: December 2, 2013. (PCP) YMCA Agra organized the First United Christmas Carol Service on the 1st of December 2013 at Central Methodist Church, Agra. The Chief Guest of the evening was the Most Rt. Revd. Dr. P. P. Habil - Bishop of Agra, Church of North India, due to emergency meeting the Guest of Honor Shri. Pradeep Bhatnagar - IAS "Commissioner of Agra" his wife Smt. Sarita Bhatnagar attended the graceful program. The program started with a word of prayer by Revd. Sylvester Massey - Priest in Charge- Central Methodist Church and warm welcome note to all guest and invitees by Dr. Melva Pope - Treasurer YMCA AGRA. The Carols started with heart touching medley by the All India Anglo Indian Association Agra Branch under the leadership of Mr. Llewellyn Albert - President and then wonderful carols were presented by M.S. School Senior & Junior Section, Tundla, St. John's Church, Agra, Student Christian Movement of India - Unit St. John's College Agra, Central Methodist Church, Agra, Methodist Church Tundla, Queen Mary School, Agra, Queen Victoria Girls Inter College, Agra, St. Marks School, Agra, St. Georges College Unit II, Agra. The Christmas Message was given by Bishop Rt. Revd. Dr. P. P. Habil who threw light on 'the meaning of Christmas''. The Young Talents were encouraged by releasing Compact Disc (CD) of Mr. Nikhil Kumar - Gospel Singer from Aligarh who prepared the Christmas Worship Songs in his own voice. Also another talent was revealed when Ms. Akansha Anand presented her creativity of making Posters and Christmas Cards, which were kept outside the church for general viewing. In her remarks Mrs. Sarita Bhatnagar - wife of Shri Pradeep Bhatnagar IAS "Commissioner of Agra' said" I am privileged to be here today. YMCA is doing good job now make good humans and teach the people who needs guidance". The Judges for the evening were Revd. Jibrael Dass - Priest in Charge of St. John's Church, Agra, Mrs. Lautika Sequire - Teaching in St. Mary's Convent, Agra and Mr.Ashish Stevenson - Music Teacher St. Paul's Church College Unit II, Agra. The vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Isaac Ghosh - Chairman Programs. The Rt. Revd. Dr. P. P. Habil concluded the program by Closing prayer and benediction. Around 130 participants and 150 viewers attended the first United Christmas Carol Service organized by YMCA, AGRA.
