Islamabad: December 10, 2013. (PCP) Convener World Minority Alliance, Former Federal Minister and Nominee for Nobel Peace Prize Dr. (Honorary) J Salik on 10th Dec, 2013 at 4Pm in front of National Press club Islamabad arranged for “International Human Rights Day.” On this occasion more than two hundred children were carrying in their hands the portraits of Nelson Mandela. Dr. J Salik called the International Human Rights Day as Nelson Mandela Human Rights Day. He highlighted the services rendered by the great leader for humanity. He added that in the times to come no prophet will come for up gradation and betterment of humanity, as such the heroes like Desmond TuTu and Nelson Mandela are the role models for us. He said that it’s the fruit of Nelson Mandela’s struggles that a black race man can rule over America.
He said that both Islam and Christianity give more importance to human rights as compared to the rights of God. He emphatically said that we should work for the betterment of humanity especially for the depressed people of society from the core of our hearts. He demanded that Human Rights Day should be renamed as Nelson Mandella Human Right Day
On this occasion Pastor Karamat Masih specially prayed for the patience of Nelson Mandela’s family and his loved ones.
