Islamabad: December 23, 2013. (PCP) World Minorities Alliance organized a colorful event of Christmas today at Margala Hall, Marriot Hotel Islamabad in which Ex Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry & Convener World Minorities Alliance, Former Federal Minister for Population Welfare Government of Pakistan and Nominee for Nobel Peace Prize Dr. Julius Salik with his wife Mrs. Marry Salik cut 44 pounds Christmas cake “Bread for Life”.
Dr. J Salik was wearing the dress which he especially took during emergency of Musharaf period on this occasion. The event started with National Anthem and Anthem of World Minority Alliance was played after that. Special Christmas carol was sung by the children's choir. Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry presented a bouquet to Mr & Mrs Salik on this occasion.
In his speech Dr. J Salik explained the basic purpose and aim of the Christmas cake. He also discussed the preaching of Jesus Christ and appreciated (Late) Mr. Nelson Mandela for the ways he implemented on the preaching of Jesus Christ in his life. “One Minute Silence” was observed to admit the services of Nelson Mandela for his work on human rights.
