On dated 9th of the October , 2013 a blasphemy case FIR Number 675/ 2013 was registered under section 295-A,295-B, 295-C of Pakistan Panel Code at Township Lahore Police Station ,in which three Christians were namely Mushtaq Masih , Irfan Masih and Pastor Adnan Masih was nominated. Mushtaq Masih , and Irfan Masih after the investigation released as innocent but the Pastor Adnan Masih file bail petition on 26th October, 2013 In the court of Mr. khizer Hayat Khan Additional Session Judge Lahore and on dated 6th 0f November the petition was withdrawn without arguing the bail. Now the Pastor Adnan is in the Camp Jail Lahore. Detail story is that Mr. Mushtaq Masih resident of house no 36, Ayodhiapur , Bhear pind , Johor Town , Lahore dealing with the business of looking class namely New Diamond glass at collage road Johar Town . At his Shop namely new diamond Glass which is located at college road Johor Town he has six employees four Muslims and two Christians. One employee Mr. Irfan was at Faisalabad city for some work on dated 07-10-2013 , he called his elder brother Adnan on dated 07-10-13 that I am at Faisalabad city for some work and you perform duty in my absence of so Adnan Masih was join the duty of his brother Irfan for some hours. Adnan was not employee over there. Next day when the Irfan joined the duty near about 3:00 PM Mr. Abid Mahmud son of Muhammad Ashraf who was worker (Driver) and Irfan’s colleague over there. Mr. Abid Mahmood asked to Mr. Irfan that I noted today who marked this lines and words (blasphemous words) on my personal reading book namely ( Main nay Bible say pocha qu Quraan jalay) ( this book written by Mollana Ameer Hamza who the Central Leader of Jamat Ul Dawata and said book is banned in Pakistan ) . Irfan saw the words and lines but did not recognize and he also did not sensed whether about after math because the said book was the property of the Mr. Abid Mahmud. Next day the Abid Mahmud again inquired about the writer whether Blasphemous words form the Irfan, Irfan told that I called the shop owner Mr. Mushtaq Masih to resolve the issue but Mr. Abid Mahmud took the book to Township Jamat Ul Dawata center and got registered a case. Mean while Mr. Mushtaq Masih came and called many time to Mr. Abid Mahmood but he did not response and Mr. Mushtaq Masih was arrested by Police. Mushtaq Masih, Irfan, Irfan‘s Uncle Pastor Kamran , His aunty Sajjda and Irfan Mother was illegally detained in the police custody for one month. In the effect of the that case first of all Pastor Adnan is on high target of Jamat-ul-Dawa, banned by the United States, Europe and India for carrying out terrorist activities, has issued a fatwa against Adnan Masih, a Christian pastor from Lahore accused of insulting Muhammad and Islam and also In early November 2013, several Christians in Wassanpura, a Christian area in Lahore, Pakistan, received threatening letters. The letters, believed to be from the Muslim group Ashiqaan-E-Rasool, demanded the Christians to vacate the area, otherwise their houses would be burned and the Christians would be killed. At least five Christian homes received these threatening letters. The threatening letters are another in a long line of threats and attacks against the Christian community in Pakistan. These Christian families, in fear for their lives, gathered together in one place. They contacted a local pastor and community leader who contacted the police department. The police arrived within 15 minutes, inspected the area, and ensured the Christians they were safe and the matter would be resolved soon. However, the Christians remained terrified and some left their homes. One local resident believes this incident could be connected to the recent blasphemy case against Adnan Masih was recently accused of writing blasphemous comments in a book on the comparison between Islam and Christianity. His family member’s his mother , brother , uncle Mushtaq , Aunty are who were on detained in police custody for month are also on high risk . That on dated 12th of Feb, 2014 in court of Zila_e- Huma Judicial Magistrate Model Town Courts the officers of the Franchise science Laboratories took writing samples of the Pastor Adnan Masih where complainant of the FIR Mr. Abid Mahmud was present with his Jamat members and all proceeding were carried out under the fear of death . Mr. Adnan was come there under strong security plan but he is surviving his life on risk. Know the latest status of the case is that Mushtaq Masih and Irfan Masih were declared innocent by Police and Pastor Adnan Masih aged thirty years born on (02-10-83 ) is behind the bars and waiting for Justice . The family and also Pastor Adnan requested Society of Legal Awareness and Equal Rights through Bishop Jamshad John Methodist Church in Pakistan in which Pastor Adnan was also preaching the Word of God. Know the Mr.Liaqat John Advocate President of Solear (Society of Legal Awareness and Equal Rights) is handling the situation and pleading the above mentioned case and also providing shelter to his family. Solear filed the bail petition of Pastor Adnan Masih which is pending in the court of Mr. Malik Zulqarnain Awan Additional Session Judge Lahore.
