Karachi: March 24, 2014. (PCP) Pakistan's minorities are feeling the effects of Islamic militant organisations which target them for occupy their property by force which is against the fundamental rights of citizen of Islamic republic of Pakistan and they feel insecure.
According to Advocate Dilawar G Bhatti has filed a suit No. 568/2013 before senior civil judge south Karachi against the person namely Ali Khan, Muhammad tariq and Munir Khan they have dispossessed a Christian family namely Samule Pervaz s/o Sardar Bhag Deen from resident of House No. 24, Street NO.A-17, Sector/Block ‘A’, Qayyumabad, Karachi, from their home with some unknowe land grabber and issued serious threat to leave this country and do not come back otherwise you and your family will be killed.
However the hon’ble court was pleased to grant the stauts qua for injunction in suit property that the Defendants, their agents, employees or any one acting or purporting to act on their behalf restrained from selling, transferring, alienating or committing any act prejudicial to the interest of the Plaintiffs in respect of suit property till final decision of case.
On 31 December 2013, Mr. Munir Khan has locked and control over this property and did not allow the plaintiff to enter in said property, which is clear violation of order of the hon’ble court dated 5-9-2013. Wife of Mr. sumel pervez informed his lawyer about that trespass of criminal where she said that death threats are making her and other family members terrified. Therefore they shifted another place for safety of life.
Again on that incident Advocate of Christian family, Dilawar G Bhatti filed an petition for registration of complainant against the criminal or land grabber, thereafter the Hon’ble District and session judge East has ordered to registered criminal case against them. Subsequently that FIR No.19/2-14 was registered in police station Korangi Industrial Area but still no serious action has been taken against them.
They continued, "My family members are in great danger and they are continually being threatened by them who have occupied their property forcefully]... they want ... security for their life and for their family. We are being threatened. We are Christians and poor. That's why such incidents happened with us. We are not safe in Pakistan, nor our honor or belongings."
Human rights group, the Masihi Foundation, said in a statement that it was "shameful" that a Christian family having to suffer like this.
The authorities are silent about it, they need to do something to protect them and their honor. We demand the authorities ensure that the samel pervez and his family are provided protection.""This is shameful," said Nazir S Bhatti Chairman of Paksitan Christian Congress from The USA,. "Such incidents should be strongly condemned by society."They need to do something to protect them. We call on the authorities to provide protection to Samul pervez and his family."
