LAHORE: The Lahore additional district and sessions judge on Friday adjourned the trial of a man charged with former federal minister Derek Cyprian's murder till March 18, on the request of Cyprian's widow. The plaintiff's counsel said that a petition challenging an anti-terrorism court's order to transfer the trial to an ordinary court was pending with the Lahore High Court (LHC) and asked the court to wait for an order on the pending petition. Derek Cyprian was murdered on August 9, 2005.
