(PCP) In the program of Dr. Danish “Sawal Ye Hai” Convener World Minorities Alliance, Convener Overseas Assembly Pakistan, Former Federal Minister and Nominee for Nobel Peace Prize Dr. J Salik has said that rigging in elections is not a new thing at all but this phenomenon of rigging is continuous in each and every election from a long time. We have to change our electoral system to avoid rigging, it’s not possible to escape rigging without changing our system, he said. He said that all the people sitting in assembly born from rigging because all of them violated the article 226 of constitution to get their seats and 70 seats in assembly are without ballet paper. He further said that all the political parties should keep their hand on their heart and tell whether the assembly is illegal or not when the article 226 says that no one can get any seat without the secret ballet paper. The major cruelty with minorities is to thrash their election and to keep them in selection and the people who are responsible for this abuse will definitely suffer and they suffering actually, because they are not the real voice of helpless, victims and deprived people of society but they are landlords, lords, industrialist and investors who are conducting elections on their own and there is no representation of poor, he said. He said that how the plants that grew up in the lap of martial law can understand democracy, while he was giving his views on democracy. He said that their residence, cars, eating habits and other facilities of life never represented a common man because it’s hard to manage “Daal, Roti” for a common man but the dogs of them even eat flesh. These sorts of people will destroy our country because they are not our representations at all, he said. He said that you are talking about the theft of elections but here our all rights have stolen. All political parties should give their clear views on the elections of minorities that the selection on seats is wrong at all and all the rights of minorities including their ministry and funds should be given back to them otherwise this corrupt system will not be able to go further, he said. He said that you are talking about the theft of your seats here the election is stolen to keep them down. He said that the so-called champions of democracy will destroy our beloved country; I left my shoes at assembly to make them realize that my shoes sit with these thieves but I don’t want to sit with them. He said that a Turkish company is running our sanitary system in Punjab and you are even not able to run your sanitary system and you are talking about bomb making and to run government. This corrupt government system is making life miserable for the people of slums, sometimes by cutting their connection of water and sometimes by creating other hurdles for them, he said. He said that we got this country after giving lacs of sacrifices and we will never let it destroy by the corrupt government system.
