(PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has urged Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan and leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Asif Ali Zardari, former President of Pakistan and co-Chairman of Pakistan People Party PPP, Bilawal Bhutto, Chairman of Pakistan People Party PPP, Syed Khurshid Shah, Leader of Opposition in National Assembly of Pakistan and leader of PPP, Imran Khan, Chairman of Tehreek Insaf Pakistan PTI, Altaf Hussain, Chief of Muthudda Quomi Movement MQM, Dr. Farooq Sattar, Parliamentary leader of MQM in National Assembly of Pakistan, Moulana Fazal Ur Rehman, Ameer of Jamiat Ulma Islam JUI, Moulala Siraj Ul Haq, Ameer Jamat Islami JI, Mahmood Achekzai, Parliamentary leader PKNP, Shaikh Rashid, President of Pakistan Awami League, Ch. Shujat Hussain, President of Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Sardar Ayaz, Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan and Mr. Nayyiar Bukhari, Chairman Senate of Pakistan to constitute “National Minority Commission” in true spirit of Liaquat-Nerhru Pact. PCC Chief in his letter to leaders of Muslim political parties has said “You were never sincere to award equal basic democratic rights to religious minorities of Pakistan and adopted constitutional measures to turn them to second class citizens” “It is sham for Pakistan Muslim League leader weather they are from any faction because they are not true inherits of All India Muslim League which was led by founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah while Quaid-e Azam in his famous 14 Point Declaration awarded “Separate Electorate” and same gave in writing to SP Singha, leader of All India Christian Association that “Separate Elections” will be given to Christians after formation of Pakistan. All factions of Pakistan Muslim League PML, MQM, JI, JUI and other parties had in their manifestos “Separate Electorate” which would be practiced by religious minorities in Pakistan but suddenly these Muslim political parties snatched the right of vote to elect their leaders and endorsed Joint Electorate system for them which was imposed by a military ruler” said Bhatti Dr. Nazir Bhatti said “Why Christians, Hindus and other religious minorities consent was neglected to change their electoral system” “If Muslim political parties are sincere in bringing religious minorities in main stream of politics its important that “National Minority Commission” may be formed under Liaquat-Nehru Pact headed by acting or retired Chief Justice of Supreme Court which may publically invite presentations of minorities leaders and recommendations for legislation on Election System, and Religious Freedom” added Nazir S Bhatti Liaquat-Nehru Pact was signed by Prime Minister of Pakistan Khan Liaquat Ali Khan and Pundit JL Nehru as Prime Minister of India on April 8, 1950 in New Delhi, which both countries singed to protect rights of minorities in respective state and to constitute “National Minority Commission” headed by a Judge of Supreme Court which may recommend after presentation of minority leaders to protect their Personal law and Election system. India constituted “National Minority Commission” under true spirit of Liaquat Nehru Pact which recommended to constitute “Muslim Law Board” which is operational since 1952 and Muslims are practicing in India their Islamic marriage and Divorce laws while such commission was never formed in Pakistan and Muslim Judges are issuing decrees according to Islamic laws on Marriage and Divorce cases of Christians when every Muslim ruler in Pakistan imposed what election system he liked on minorities to easily hijack their vote bank. In his letter, Dr. Nazir S Bhatti has urged Muslim political parties heads to constitute “National Minority Commission” headed by Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan instead of headed by Mian Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan or any Muslim or Christian or Hindu Federal Minister or parliamentarian. Nazir Bhatti warned that if “National Minority Commission” is not formed under Liaquat-Nehru Pact now then exodus of Hindus and Christian from Pakistan will expedite which will damage image of Pakistan on international forums.
