Karachi: September 5, 2014. (PCP) It is heart breaking story of one Christian Anwar Masih Bhatti and his family. Anwar Bhatti is son of Late Barkat Masih and name of his mother is Loviza Barket who six siblings named Rubina Bhatti, Nasir Bhatti, Asher Bhatti, Sunita Bhatti, and Yasir bhatti. This nine member is fleeing for safety of their lives from a village to city and then from one Christian residential area to another area from years after oppression and persecution in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Pakistan Christian Post interviewed Mr. Anwar Bhatti in Metropolitan city of Karachi slum area where Christians are living without any water, electricity and other facilities. “Me, Anwar Bhatti, i am married person and my wife's name is Mariam Anwar and I have two daughters, Amarus Bhatti and Arisha Bhatti. My eldest Sister, Rubina Tariq is also married and she is happy in her house with her family. Like as, Except Rubina Tariq, we are nine members of our family. Rest, family members are unmarried and all are studying by the Grace of God” “I, Anwar Bhatti, male nurse and my youngest brother, Yasir Bhatti is in Roman Catholic Seminary under Priestly Formation” “Since Pakistan is in foundation our fore father to our generation we all are admitting this as our Mother Land and our own country, we are living here as a (good/noble/) citizen, But unfortunately often, we are realized by them as this Country is not our Mother Land and our Soil and you have no right to breath as Muslims are taking here” “We, belong to village, Bartahanwala, Tehseel Daska, District Sialkot. Our fore fathers used to live here before the division of India and Pakistan for several years” “But in May 1989 an incident occurred by the fifth month of the year which is the harvesting time of the wheat crop few Christian women were working there in crops and some men and sons of the (Dictators) came there and were trying to teasing them and tearing theirs cloths and trying to assault them violently while that time my father (Barkat Masih) was going to home nearby that they crops, he heard their voice and that they were shouting for help So my father went there and saw that one women is naked her clothes were completely torn and my father used his own shirt (kameez) to cover her and my father also requested them humbly that please release them, let them go, For the God sake but they didn't understand although they were asking that if you are protecting them so your own women can face trouble and they fought with my father and soon after this fought become a huge battle between Christian and Muslims in the whole village and continued till evening and seemed to be unstoppable battle so at last some Christian women, decided to ask for help form police, So they went to police station to Daska Police station with naked heads and without sandals. And they told them entire situation at police station and then some police officers went to village and tried to stop that fought so after that the fought stopped , but after few days at night they used to threw stones at our house and also used to kicked at our gate after drinking alcohol and they also used to stolen our animals .And then at evening after few days men of (Dictators) carried my father to their cattle house , while my father was coming back to the home, So they asked to my father that leave this village OR you and your family accept Islam otherwise, as we can carry your cattle’s as well as we can take your lives also and then they beaten my father also violently, he was injured from every place” “My father was a Brave person, that’s why he did not leave that village but one day at evening they came again to our home and they shouted that leave this house immediately OR otherwise we will kill all of you and then they also used abused words against us and then they threw stones at our house in alcoholism condition. So, at morning some senior citizen came at our home and advised us that please proceed from here because they not willing to live all of you over here. We decided to leave that place at same day then we reached at Karachi and lived at Azizabad. “After long journey of struggle of my parents they bought our own place at Bhittaiabad at 1994, and left rented house of Azizabad” “We were living here happily and our lives were going good from 1994-1997 , but unfortunately this happiness was limited for a short time and again some tragedy occurred In 1997, we went to our uncles house in Azizabad to attend his daughters marriage and we lived there for two days , after two days when we returned to our home at Bhittaiabad, we saw a new lock at our gate which was put by Land Mafia group over there , So we broke that new lock and came inside because it was our own house, soon after the members of land mafia groups came at our house and they said to us that this is our house , get out from here and soon after ,they beat us wildly, we were severely injured, our clothes were torn completely and they nakedly carried us to their empty home and they also gave us electric shocks, but alas! no one helped us even police officers also because they were also involved with them, then they brought us to hospital at Jinnah Post Graduate and Medical College (JPMC) because we were in very serious condition , As police officers involved with them they make their own fake Medical profile but they did not try to make our medical profile (MLO: medical legal officer) by their fake MLO, they locked up in jail for four months me Anwar Bhatti , My father and my Brother Asher we were arrested, After four months we released by bail. Then to famous us in theirs fake case they also published our report to paper press media for example awami newspaper etc then unstoppable dates up to dates process started of court the for four years our case went, at last then case was in our aspect, court decided that this house should be given to us. By the Grace of God, we continued to live here but again another tragedy occurred, In 2001 our neighbor made plot against us, it was Sunday and i was coming with my family to home from church, boys were playing Cricket match in street and they threw their ball for 10-15 time, So we asked them please boys play slowly, why are you disturbing us? And soon after their nearly about 50 people came to us, As they were already in planning to beat us, they have their own many streets of their relatives, So they were several in numbers, they tried to enter in our home but our ladies were inside and me and my father were outside to stopped them, but they beat us badly. At same month nov,2001 my marriage preparation was going on and they spoiled our function also because we were very injured and then some senior citizen tried to solve this problem and finished this matter, but in spite of it after few day they abused us and said get out from here. From 2001 - 2009 they fought with us 6 times and disturbed us many times, In 2009 ,they again fought with us. after scene of 9/11, this is worldwide knowing many (Talibans) came in Pakistan to live here and to operate their network here, As well as some of (Talibans) came to live in our Streets and lived here in a house on rent basis ,this is that same house that belongs to those who fought with us for many times” “So, many time Talibans tried to disturbed us and tease us in many ways and they used to told us that accept Islam, and when we rejected them, So they fought with us, So they complained to police and tried to make plot against us in fake cases. On 28th oct 2009 at evening nearby 7:00 O clock , some Police officers of Bhittaiabad police check post, which is under Sachal Police Station, came to our house and arrested us illegally by the reference of Talibans fake cases , Myself and Anwar bhatti and Nasir Bhatti brought by them to their police check post and beat us too much and said where is the weapons and in the presence of (A.S.I) officer Shabeer Mirani ,They beat us threaten us and asked five thousand rupees as Bribe , So we gave them two thousand rupees to release from them they also said that bring three thousand more on 29 oct 2009 otherwise we will again arrest you , we are very good Christian and Noble people persons on having weapons ,so why they released us, As we could not arrange the money they again tortured and arrest us . So we appealed to D.I.G Operation because they are very powerful people as they lived here in very unrespectable and social unacceptable ways, In this aspect our many social members were disturbed by them. After complaining to D.I.G operation persecution matter solved but not for long time they left this place but till now they tortured us for many times that you complained to D.I.G against us ,we will kill all of you and get out from here and they also beat my brother Nasir Bhatti and broke his arm and teeth .Instead of it 4-5 in previous months of the same year 2014 they warned us very clearly on the way to my brothers that leave this place otherwise we will kill you , but we are having faith in Christ So we are still living here in Christ name with peace . “I also made and organization of Home Nursing Services , "England Home Nursing Service" in Saddar Karachi but some Muslims tried to stopped this organization and they also tried to kill us as target killing on the way but Jesus Christ saved us every time, they came to my office and fired on my office to stopped that organization. By the Grace of God Jesus Christ we saved from their planning and mockery. But at last they used their last weapon ,On last month 13june 2014 early morning they torn some papers of Holy Quran and put at their gate and shouted that we tore these papers and put them here we insult that but some Baloch Balochi speaking Muslims which are about 4-5 families requested them and favored us that they are not this types of persons we know them very well because they are living here with us about 20 twenty years they cannot do this type of rubbishing, So they understood and that matter resolved soon after on the spot and many people and families of our streets did not know this till now because of those baloch persons requested them like that this is stopped to be famous. After this problem myself as the head of this family and other members of the family decided that we have to leave this place because we are facing these thing from childhood, so we don't want to spoil our coming generations future here . we all are mentally upset because till now we are not saved because of their mockery plans we are feeling that we are slave and we are not independent over here So we are requesting you and UNO that please help us to migrate from this country and give us a saved place and refuge”
