Islamabad: September 11, 2014. (PCP) Convener World Minorities Alliance & Former Federal Minister J Salik and portrait of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah lead a Memorial Walk on the occasion of 66th Death Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam. J Salik walked from D Chowk to (Tahafuz e Pakistan House) the container of Dr. Tahir ul Qadri with the 6 ft tall portrait of Quaid-e-Azam and his fifty more pictures. J Salik said that we can’t even imagine the thirst of Quaid-e-Azam’s soul when he distinguish the present situation of his country because the Pakistan he made could not like this at all, as he secured the rights of minorities in the country he made, in his address on the occasion. What could be the Quaid’s condition when he sees the tent cities on Shahrah e Dastoor, in front of Parliament House and all around the red zone, when minorities face injustice at each and every point, when he the election of minorities is replaced with the selection system, when the properties of minorities are confined by the government, when minority ministry is dissolved and the only fund of 5 cror is discarded, when the sanitation department is given to a Turkish company in Punjab and privatized all the sanitary workers, he said . He said that when the government is not even able to manage the sanitation system of the country, how is it possible for them to manage the whole country. He said that we have to give rights to every citizen of the country to comfort the soul of Quaid as every body is facing the tough situation in the country now a days and its not an easy job for the public to have access to their own rights even. The corrupt governments plundered each and every penny of the country (cash) but Quaid-e-Azam is witness that we tried our best to bring the country back to its original position with revolution (Inqilab). Meanwhile, Senior Leader of Jamaat e Islami Liaquat Baloch met Former Federal Minister J Sallik today at his residence. Mr. Liaquat Baloch addressed J Salik and said that your participation in PAT Sit-Inn proved that you are a stake holder of the state and we all are unite under our flag. He said that we (Jamaat e Islami) are with our minority brothers and all their constitutional and legal rights should be given to them at any cost. We have very good hopes from present PAT Sit- Inn but we have to sort out a way which can bring betterment for all the stakeholders, he said. He told that the final meeting between Jamaat e Islami and Pakistan Awami Tehreek will be held today which will be hopefully very fruitful. He said that the monarchs used to be very tyrant and they have to relationship with humanity. He said that Jamaat e Islami demands the rigging in election 2013 to be examined by Supreme Court and the implementation of all election reforms. Both Liaquat Baloch and J Salik agreed on the points that the right of voting should be given to minorities to bring their representation in Federal, all the problems of minorities should be resolved on priority basis, the minority ministry should be restored urgently and all the political and social parties should be united to help flood victims, IDPs, victims of martyrs, victims of electricity and all the others. J Salik said that the present endeavors created the wakefulness in the people for the stability of Pakistan. He said that we show our condolence on the tragedy of Model Town. He said that Jamaat e Islami and Liaquat always showed their love for Christians and joined then in all the times of their need. The present Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Shareef and 70 seats of National Assembly are non-constitutional because there is no record of votes on those seats, he said. He said that Nawaz Shareef always tortured Christians and tried to keep them in distress; he fired the poor workers and appointed the Turkish people on their seats, which is the great injustice with Pakistani Christians. J Salik appreciated the role of media and said that media always highlighted the issues of minorities in good manners.
