Pakistan: November 9, 2014. (PCP) Convener World Minorities Alliance and Former Federal Minister J Salik lead a massive protest against brutal death of Shahzad Masih & Shamah Bibi today on to show solidarity with bereaved family of burnt Christian Couple in front of National Press Club Islamabad to Supreme Court of Pakistan. J Salik addressed on the occasion and said that the death of Christian couple is the terrible brutality and there is no other example of the brutality before but the most terrible thing is that the funeral prayers of the victims were offered at 12PM the same night. He said that the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif visited the bereaved family but had no contact with credible people of area and had no address over there which gave a very bad impression of him. J Salik said that unfortunately the incidents of Shanti Nagar, Gojra, Koriyan, Joseph Colony and the current incident took place during PML N government but no body get punished who were responsible for the incident, nothing was done to find out the basic reasons behind that sort of incidents because of which the such sort of incidents are increasing day by day. He said that it was the need to call the Conference on national level on the sensitive issues and to have the feedback of every intellectual to find out the reasons and get rid of that sort of incidents. He said that we are not promoting Nationalism in Pakistan and even after 67 years we have no National Centers here. He said that the PML N government sold the 28 National Centers in its last tenure. He demanded not to neglect the incident like the incidents before, to call the National Conference on the incident, the fair investigations of the incident, the exemplary punishment of the all responsible people. He said that we have to restore the political rights of minorities to bring them out from complex. He marched to wards Supreme Court and demanded the sue moto action. Chairman Al Raheem trust Molana Khalil ur Rehman was also present on the occasion.
