Vice Chancellor of Sargodha University urged to review M.ED exams date sheet falling on Christmas Eve

Sargodha: November 24, 2014. (PCP) Professor Anjum James Paul, Chairman of Pakistan Minorities Teachers Association PMTA , in a letter to Vice Chancellor of University of Sargodha have urged to reviews date-sheet of Master in Education degree examinations papers falling on December 24 and 26, 2014, during Christmas Eve season. Professor Paul has argued that Christian students of M. Ed will face difficulties to appear in exams during Christmas season and revision of date-sheet will enable Christian students to prepare and appear in examinations satisfactory. The copies of this letter by Professor Paul have been sent to Governor of Punjab who is Chancellor of Sargodha University and Minister of Education. Here are contents of letter: The Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha Sargodha Subject: Request to review the date sheet of M.Ed 1st Annual Examination 2014 papers to be held on December 24, 2014 and December 26, 2014 due to Christmas. Honorable Sir, Greetings and peace from Pakistan Minorities Teachers’ Association (PMTA). PMTA would like to draw your kind attention on the subject cited above as there are many Christian students who are appearing in the said examination. The religious festival of Christmas is on the 25th of December 2014. Christian students have approached PMTA for review in the date sheet as they have to celebrate their religious festival. It is therefore requested you to announce new dates for the following two papers keeping in mind a day before and a day after Christmas so that Christian students may celebrate Christmas with fervor . 1. 24-12-2014 Wednesday MED: 611 Human Resource Management or MED: 614 Assessment and Evaluation in Guidance 2. 26-12-2014 Friday MED: 616 Educational Supervision or MED: 617 Guidance & Counseling It is hoped that the fundamental genuine request/demand of PMTA will be entertained.
