LARKANA: November 30, 2014. (Nazir Siyal) Jamiat-Ulmae-Islam (JUI) Chief Mulana Fazal-u-Rehman on Sunday visited Jamia Islamia Ashaat-ul-Quran Wal Hadith Madarsa Larkana and offered condolence with Mulana Nasir Mehmood Soomro, Mulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro on sad demise of their father, martyred JUI Secretary General Sindh Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro. He was accompanied by former Chief Minister Khayber Pakhtoon Khah (KPK) Akram Khan Durani, Federal Minister Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed and other central and provincial leaders of country, on the occasion he expressed grief and sorrow on brutal killing of JUI Secretary General and former Senator Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro, he prayed almighty Allah to rest his soul eternal peace. JUI Chief Mulana Fazal U Rehman talking to media men, he termed murder of Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro as national tragedy and Tehreek as well , Dr Khalid Soomro has best relations with all, he said now we will not remain calm, protests will continue. Mulana Fazal Rehman told that future strategy will be announced tomorrow, no report about attacks were given to him what to say about it, he said he thanked to nationalists on support and emphasized on workers to stage protest peacefully. Meanwhile, STPP-Sindh Tarqi Passand Party Chief Dr Qadir Magsi has said that if failure in the arrest of killers of JUI Secretary General Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro within 72 hours, the FIR should be lodged against Sindh Chief Minister Shah over the a high profile murder case. Talking to the media men after condolence here at Larkana Press Club on Sunday, he said after Baluchistan province, Sindh is also receiving bullet riddled and tortured bodies of youth and the leaders, in this regard International Organizations and Supreme Court of Pakistan must take notice of human rights violation and Suo-moto notice, Dr Qadir Magsi further said that assassination of former Senator Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro was a conspiracy against motherland and condemnable act of killing of first national religious leader, added that he was a brave Sindh loving, who always raised his voice for the true aspects and for Sindh issues owing to this reality he was martyred. Mr Magsi apprised that yet Sindh people have received 40 dead bodies of missing youth, state should understand that such tortures will cop on the situation but encourage the freedom struggle and causing resentment among the masses, he said. STPP does not believe in warfare and politics of tortures but we want to ensure the rights of people constitutional way. STPP Chief talking about the Sindh province, he said that Sindh was not a administrative unit but it was sovereign state since centuries, Sindh joined in federation under 1940 resolution but later Sindh was deprived of its rights constitutionally. Mr Masi criticized on former President Asif Ali Zardari due to his reconciliation policy he compromised with killers of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and did not arrest her assassins and completed 5 year term in federal provincial governments, alleged that during 5 years PPP rulers made corruption of 10000 billions, sold jobs, usurped TMA funds in Sindh. DIG Sukkur and Larkana Sain Rakhio, who is also Chairman Inquiry Team constituted by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah probing into the murder of JUI Secretary General Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro, he told that Doctors examined body of late leader and five bullets were riddled even though Postmortem of assassinated JUI leader was not conducted he said. DIG Sukkur and Larkana Sain Rakhio Mirani informed that an inquiry team formed by CM Sindh is comprising on Chairman and 4 other members including SSP Khairpur, SSP Sukkur, SSP Shikarpur and DIG Special branch have jointly visited the crime scene and collected the evidences which will be disclosed before the media at present, he said that inquiry team will record the statements of eyewitnesses people who were present on scene during the incident. Sain Rakhio told that martyred Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro was his classmate and close companion, he was high profile personality, we cannot give time frame to complete the inquiry and furnish report, efforts are under way to complete the inquiry as soon as possible.
